Best American Restaurant in Sylvan Lake

Ellen's has a fantastic bakery and coffee shop and to top it off their cafe menu is just as unique and flavorful. Definitely worth the time if you value great taste and service.

I stumbled across this place last week. I took my wife there for a special breakfast today and she loved it! Best breakfast place! EVERYTHING tasted great. Even the water was better somehow? Crazy but true. Take your special someone here, but don't tell too many people about it, please!

Phenomenal food & service. 12/10!!! First time customers and already anticipating our next visit. Breakfast tacos were amazing, as well as the spicy sausage hash & the brioche French toast. Didn't catch our servers name but he was so accommodating and polite.

I like to bring my two-year-old in here in the mornings and have some coffee and a snack. All the staff is so nice. I love the biscotti. I now get all my special occasion cakes here. Used to use Sweet Dreams but they charge extra to use a credit card. Carrot cake and white chocolate strawberry shortcake are first rate. Can’t wait to try more flavors !

These were probably some of the best Shrimp and Grits we had outside New Orleans. I got mine without bacon. I also grabbed a plate of Peach French Toast which were exquisite. As you can see I cleaned the plate. However my fork is facing down at the 7 o'clock position which means they've gained a new customer. The service was amazing. They were prompt, attentivwand consistent. Lastly the Bakery itself had sweets to die for. We ate definitely going back very soon.
